About me and my therapy practice

"Therapy is a gift. It is a chance to finally be heard, understood, and supported." – Bessel van der Kolk

Sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong, yet the weight of it is very real. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, life challenges, trauma, transitions, grief, or loss, seeking support is a positive step. You may also be navigating relationship difficulties, managing health concerns, or adjusting to life with a diagnosis.

I offer a supportive and compassionate space where, together, we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We will make sense of your emotions, gently examine patterns or behaviours that may no longer serve you, and work collaboratively toward understanding, healing, and greater well-being. My aim is to provide a safe space where you can begin to heal, grow, and move toward the life you want to create.

Practice description

With over a decade of experience in therapeutic practice, I offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what has brought you to therapy at your own pace. I work sensitively to help you feel safe, heard, and supported.

I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support you in making sense of your experiences, uncovering your strengths, and moving towards greater balance and fulfilment.

I work holistically and have a specialism in attachment and the Polyvagal nervous system. My work is informed by Polyvagal-based training and focuses on how early relationships, trauma, and the nervous system shape emotional regulation, sense of self, and patterns of relating.

I can help with difficulties including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and attachment difficulties, trauma, loss and grief, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, and the emotional impact of health diagnoses or long-term conditions.

My first session

Our first session together gives an opportunity for us to see how I can help you, and if I seem a good fit, you will most likely get a sense of this. There will be a short time during the session when I will gather information from you. The rest of the session will be a time for you to share why you are seeking therapy.

Practice description

With over a decade of experience in therapeutic practice, I provide a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what has brought you to therapy at your own pace. I understand how difficult it can be to share personal thoughts and feelings, and I work sensitively to help you feel safe, heard, and supported.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support you in making sense of your experiences, uncovering your strengths, and moving towards greater balance and fulfilment. Together, we will explore your emotions, reflect on patterns or behaviours that may no longer serve you, and find ways to foster healing, understanding, and personal growth.

I work holistically and have a specialism in attachment and the Polyvagal nervous system. My training in Polyvagal theory informs a nervous-system–aware approach, helping to understand how early relationships and trauma shape emotional regulation, sense of self, and patterns of relating.

I can support you with difficulties including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and attachment challenges, trauma, loss and grief, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, and the impact of health diagnoses or long-term conditions.
