About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy is a big investment of time and money, and I'm dedicated to finding a way of working together that meets your unique needs and brings about the change you're hoping to see.
I am integratively trained, which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic models and theories to tailor a bespoke approach that fits you. In sessions I aim to be collaborative and responsive, working together with you to attend to whatever feels most important in the moment. To this end, I may offer reflections, insights, challenges, experiments, mindfulness exercises, and invitations to explore bodily sensation.
Over time, our work together will allow you to experiment with new ways of relating to yourself, your experiences, your relationships, and your environment. This often leads to change that previously felt impossible, opening the door to a new way of being that feels more authentic, satisfying, and connected.
I have extensive experience working with a wide range of experiences such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self-esteem and self-worth
- Neurodivergence and related diagnoses
- Personality disorder and related diagnoses
- Bereavement and grief
- Relationship difficulties
- Attachment and abandonment issues
- Career challenges
- Burn out and chronic stress
- Trauma experiences
- Panic attacks and phobias
- Sex and intimacy concerns
This is not an exhaustive list and if you're left wondering whether we can work together, I'm always happy to chat.
I strongly believe therapy has the potential to benefit everyone. I welcome and work with people of all life stages, sexual orientations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds.
I offer a free, no-commitment, 20 minute video call as a first step. This is an opportunity to meet one another and get of sense of whether we'd be able to work effectively together. I appreciate that starting therapy is a big step, so if you have any questions about what therapy with me would look like then please get in touch!
My first session
I suggest that as an initial step we meet for a free-of-charge initial call during which you can ask me as many questions as you like about what working together may be like.
This call also allows me to take note of any needs and preferences you have to make the therapy as accessible as possible.
