I am available for online (Zoom or Google Meet) or telephone sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 5.30-7.30pm or Saturday mornings between 9-11am.
About me and my therapy practice
Rooted in compassionate curiosity and guided by Humanistic principles, I help people heal emotional wounds, develop self-acceptance, rebuild self-esteem and restore their sense of self.
As an Integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are. I will listen to how you experience the world, what challenges you are facing, what you would like to overcome and work towards.
I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with complex grief and bereavement, trauma, anxiety, depression and addiction. I also have experience and a special interest in working with Highly Sensitive People.
Practice description
Although talk therapy is a large part of my therapeutic practice, I will invite and guide clients to work with the body as well as the mind. Incorporating the body allows us to access more information which may not be available when working solely with the mind.
Since completing my foundational training in counselling and psychotherapy in 2022, I have since deepened my learning in many areas including:
- Somatic therapy
- Focussing and parts work
- Hakomi Mindfulness psychotherapy
- Psychosynthesis psychotherapy
- Working with and overcoming shame
- Nervous system regulation
I wholeheartedly believe in the power of this work, and it is a privilege to witness the positive transformation that can occur.
My first session
As a psychotherapist and counsellor, I offer both short-term and long-term sessions, there is no pressure to sign up to a certain amount of sessions.
Finding the right therapist for you can be time-consuming but, in my experience, this makes all the difference to the depth and quality of the therapeutic process.
