About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Rozan. If you’re here, you might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not feeling good with yourself. Maybe you're navigating a big life or career change and finding it hard to stay grounded. You might be living abroad and struggling with a sense of disconnection, or dealing with constant self-doubt, anxiety, or emotional disruption.
If any of that resonates, you're not alone. You're in the right place.
I'm an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, supporting English or Chinese-speaking adults who struggle with emotional challenges, identity change, and periods of transition. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning in their daily lives, but they have self-criticism, low self-esteem, or unresolved wounds from the past. Some are stepping into new roles. I understand that you need a safe space to process this change.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the core values of person-centred therapy. I believe in the innate strength and positive potential within each individual.
I can support you to:
- Feel calmer and more in control of anxiety
- Adjust to life abroad with more confidence
- Heal from painful past experiences
- Build a stronger sense of self-worth
- Manage workplace stress more effectively
Practice description
In our sessions, I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can be fully accepted, just as your true self. You won’t feel pressure to tell me all in a short time. Slowly we’ll unpack what has made you suffer, understand the patterns beneath your thoughts and behaviours, and help you move toward a more grounded, self-compassionate version of yourself.
I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I’ve supported mothers and adults with social anxiety and low self-worth. Before this, I worked for many years in the business sector, so I deeply understand the pressures of modern work life and identity.
The session will be conducted via Google Meet. Each session is 60 minutes long and can be conducted in English, Cantonese or Mandarin.
If you have financial hardship, I offer concessionary rates per session.
My first session
Before our first session, I will send you the terms of the counselling agreement. This helps confirm your appointment and ensures you feel comfortable with the process.
The first session is an important opportunity for me to get to know you better. We’ll explore your current challenges, and together, we’ll discuss the goals of therapy and which issues to prioritise. You may be dealing with multiple layers at once, and our work will help you with better clarity and focus.
If you have any questions about what you’ve read here, please don’t hesitate to email me. I also offer a free 20-minute introductory call so we can get to know each other and decide whether we’re a good fit to work together.
