About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Rozan. If you’re here, you might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not feeling good with yourself. You might be dealing with constant self-doubt, anxiety, burnout or emotional disruption. Perhaps you're having a difficult time at work and find it hard to be at ease.
If any of that resonates, you're not alone. You're in the right place.
I'm an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, supporting English or Chinese-speaking adults who struggle with emotional challenges. I have extensive experience working in multicultural settings, focusing on issues related to anxiety, emotional distress, self-esteem, and spirituality.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the core values of person-centred therapy. I believe in the innate strength and positive potential within each individual.
I can support you to:
- Feel calmer and more in control of anxiety
- Enhance self-awareness and self-understanding
- Build a stronger sense of self-worth
My Focus Areas
- Anxiety
- Emotion Regulation
- Imposter Syndrome
- Inner Child Work
- Self-Esteem
- Stress Management
- Burnout: Employment and Caregiver
- Spirituality
Practice description
In our sessions, I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can be fully accepted as a human, just your true self. You won’t feel pressure to tell me all in a short time. We’ll unpack what has made you suffer, understand the patterns beneath your thoughts and behaviours, and help you move toward a more grounded, self-compassionate version of yourself.
I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, panic attack, emotional regulation difficulties, and work stress. I’ve also supported mothers and adults with social anxiety and low self-worth. Before this, I worked for many years in the business sector, so I deeply understand the pressures of work.
The session will be conducted via Google Meet. Each session is 60 minutes long and can be conducted in English, Cantonese or Mandarin.
If you have financial hardship, I offer concessionary rates per session.
My Training & Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Counselling
- Complex Trauma Certification Training Level 1 & 2 (CCTP/CCTP-II) with Janina Fisher
- NCDA Facilitating Career Development Training - Certified Career Services Provider
- Meditation and Sound Healing Professional Training Level I, II & Advanced (Nepal)
- Mindfulness for Life - 8 Week Course (Oxford Mindfulness Centre)
My first session
Before our first session, I will send you the terms of the counselling agreement. This helps confirm your appointment and ensures you feel comfortable with the process.
The first session is an important opportunity for me to get to know you better. We’ll explore your current challenges, and together, we’ll discuss the goals of therapy and which issues to prioritise. You may be dealing with multiple layers at once, and our work will help you with better clarity and focus.
If you have any questions about what you’ve read here, please don’t hesitate to email me. I also offer a free 20-minute introductory call so we can get to know each other and decide whether we’re a good fit to work together.
