About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. I work in a person-centred and holistic way, which means our sessions are guided by what feels most important to you. I don’t offer advice or quick fixes, instead, I’ll support you to explore your experiences in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering, at your own pace.
I believe that counselling provides the space to pause, reflect, and understand what’s going on beneath the surface. You don’t need to have a clear reason for starting therapy, if something doesn’t feel quite right, that’s reason enough to reach out.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship we build together, one based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My role is to offer a non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely, gain clarity, and find your own way forward.
Practice description
I’m a Â鶹Դ´ registered counsellor offering face-to-face counselling in Sidcup and Bexleyheath, as well as online sessions for adults across the UK. I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals, whilst always keeping your individual needs at the heart of the work.
I support people experiencing a wide range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, grief, relationship issues, anger, financial stress, and feelings of being stuck or lost. My experience includes working within the charity sector, where I’ve supported people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
I am warm, grounded, and easy to talk to. I aim to offer a supportive and understanding relationship built on empathy and genuine care, a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment, pressure, or expectation.
Qualifications and professional training:
Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Certificate in Counselling Skills
Certificate of Proficiency – Â鶹Դ´
Qualification in Online & Telephone Counselling
Enhanced DBS check
My first session
I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with your therapist, so I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation. This gives you a chance to ask any questions, talk about what brings you to counselling, and get a sense of how I work.
If you decide to move forward, our first session will be a gentle introduction, an opportunity to explore what has led you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and how we can work together. There’s no pressure to share more than you feel ready to, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.
Whether in person in Sidcup or Bexleyheath, or online from the comfort of your home, my aim is to help you feel safe, supported, and understood from the very beginning.
