Availability

The best way to get a sense of whether this space feels right for you is through a conversation. I offer a free 15-minute phone call, a chance for you to ask questions, share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for how I work.

I offer both short- and long-term therapy, with a focus on creating meaningful, lasting change. Sliding scale rates and a limited number of low-cost spaces are available, depending on need and availability.

If you’d like to connect, I’d love to hear from you.

About me and my therapy practice

At the heart of my work is a commitment to relational, creative, and socially conscious therapy. We will focus on creating a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space for your emotional exploration. One that honors your history, unique story and identity.

Grounded in an integrative approach, we will draw from a wide range of psychotherapy theories and practices to gain a deeper understanding of what’s going on in your life. This includes paying attention to the connection between your body and mind, and how your feelings and experiences might show up physically as well as emotionally.

Whether you're navigating a specific issue or seeking deeper personal growth our work will focus on increasing self-awareness, emotional resilience and meaningful change.

You may not know exactly what you’re looking for yet, and that’s ok. Therapy doesn’t require you to have the answers before you begin. What matters is that something doesn’t feel quite right and you’re curious about how things could be different.

You may be feeling:

  • Emotionally overwhelmed, anxious or burnt out

  • Disconnected from yourself or others
  • Stuck in patterns that no longer serve you
  • Grieving a loss, relationship or life transition
  • Struggling with shame, low self-worth or self-doubt
  • Navigating identity, systemic harm or marginalisation
  • Disconnected from your body or unsure how to listen to its signals
  • Struggling with self-image, body image, or experiences of body dysphoria

Our work together may involve:

  • Clarifying what you want to change, shift or explore

  • Gaining insight into emotional patterns and relational dynamics
  • Developing more supportive coping strategies and emotional tools
  • Building self-trust, confidence and relational skills
  • Exploring identity, culture and belonging
  • Reclaiming parts of yourself shaped by survival, silence or shame
  • Engaging with creative and embodiment practices to support trauma healing, self-expression, and a more compassionate connection with your body

However you come, you are so welcome here.

Practice description

My practice is built on a set of professional values and commitments:

Relationality & Honesty

At its core, my work is relational, supporting you to build confidence in your communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on deepening your relationship with yourself and others.

Anti-Oppressive & Trauma-Informed Practice

Our mental health does not exist in a vacuum. I’m deeply committed to anti-oppressive, decolonial and trauma-informed practices that recognise how systemic forces such as capitalism, racism, ableism and transphobia shape our wellbeing.

This means:

  • Acknowledging the broader contexts that affect your mental health
  • Exploring internalised beliefs shaped by these systems
  • Supporting new ways of being beyond survival mode, pressure, or perfectionism

Inclusive and Identity-Affirming

I offer neuro-inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming, trans-expansive, culturally inclusive and non-ableist care. Together we name harm and make room for resistance, care, and restoration.

Creative and Expressive

We will invite imagination and playfulness into the process of healing while centering your unique experience. Sometimes words aren’t enough so we may use creative practices to explore your inner world and express difficult feelings. Sometimes we will use embodiment practices to reconnect with yourself.

Empowerment & Intuition

Your lived experience and inner wisdom matters. We will foster your empowerment outside of the sessions by building confidence, deepening self-trust, and accessing personal and ancestral resources. We may also draw on folklore and the deep well of intuitive knowledge - honouring what lives beyond logic.

Community & Collective Care

Trauma can be both deeply personal and embedded in social and communal ecosystems. We will explore your connection to community, shared experience and the power of being part of something larger than ourselves.

My first session

In our first session, you can expect:

  • A calm, confidential space to share what’s bringing you here
  • Space to explore your hopes, hesitations or uncertainties about therapy
  • The chance to ask questions about how I work and what feels supportive to you
  • Agreement on next steps including focus, frequency, and practicalities

Whether you’re longing for rest, connection or a deeper relationship with yourself, this can be a space to slow down, get honest and gently explore what healing might look like for you.

Client Groups & Focus Areas:

I work with individuals facing a wide range of struggles and take a holistic, anti-oppressive approach to support them. Some of the wonderful people I work with have endured:

  • Addiction, shame, bereavement, grief, self-harm and suicidal thoughts
  • Relational difficulties, including struggles with manipulation, emotional abuse, domestic violence, or sexual violence
  • Women’s health issues - around reproductive justice and health, pregnancy loss including disenfranchised grief related to abortion, fertility issues and the emotional complexities of living in a society that often silences women’s voices and experiences.
  • Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) needs. I offer trans-expansive care and gender-affirming support for those navigating gender identity, expression or sexual orientation exploration
  • Discrimination, particularly in relation to cultural, racial, gender, sexuality, or disability struggles and supporting clients in healing from the emotional toll of living in a system that marginalizes or overlooks their needs
  • Mental health conditions, such as chronic depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, body dysmorphia and borderline personality disorder
