Thank you for visiting my profile. Choosing to start therapy is a significant step, and finding the right therapist is important. I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly and explore whatever is troubling you.  Whether you're going through a period of emotional distress, feeling stuck, or want to better understand yourself and your relationships.

Together, we can look at patterns that may no longer be serving you and work toward greater clarity, resilience and emotional well-being.

I am a qualified  Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working across the NHS, voluntary and private sectors. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, work-related stress, low self-esteem, and unresolved experiences from the past.  I am UKCP registered and also a member of the 麻豆原创 and FPC (my graduate body).

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy depending on what feels right for you. Some clients come for support during a period of crisis or transition, while others seek to explore longer-standing patterns and relationships more deeply. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply aware that something in your life isn鈥檛 working.  Therapy can offer a space to begin making sense of those feelings.

My approach is psychodynamic and relational, with a strong focus on building a safe, confidential space where meaningful change can take place. I also have experience working both in the UK and globally with professionals, undergraduates and PHD students.  Alongside trainee psychotherapists.

Clients often describe feeling lighter, more connected, and more able to cope with life鈥檚 challenges as therapy progresses. My aim is to help you move toward a more fulfilling, balanced and authentic life.

Solution-Focused Counselling (SFC)

Instead of delving deeply into problems, each session is tailored towards a desired outcomes and how to achieve it. We would look together at how you are already doing well and expand on that.

When to Use SFC:

鈥 Low motivation or burnout

鈥 Conflict resolution

鈥 Career planning or transitions

鈥 Time management or productivity issues

鈥 Stress or workload concerns

鈥 Grief, separation, divorce, due to work related or personal issues

鈥 Anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic stress or any mental health issue

I offer tailored Counselling to promote client well-being and enhance the quality of an individual鈥檚 life.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a thoughtful, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what鈥檚 troubling you at your own pace. My approach is primarily psychodynamic and relational, grounded in the belief that early experiences shape how we understand ourselves, others, and the world around us.

In our work together, we may look at how patterns from the past are showing up in your present, especially in your relationships, work, or sense of self. Gaining insight into these patterns can bring clarity, relief, and the possibility for lasting change.

Alongside this, I also offer solution-focused counselling for those looking to work in a more structured and short-term way. This approach is future-oriented and goal-driven, helping you to identify what鈥檚 working, what you鈥檇 like to be different, and how you can move forward using your existing strengths and resources. I have a vast amount of experience of successfully working with employees of all levels of various business sectors using this type of counseling.

Whether you're seeking brief support or longer-term in-depth exploration, I tailor therapy to suit your individual needs. I work online with adults across the UK and internationally, offering both flexibility and continuity.

Practice description

I am a UKCP-accredited and 麻豆原创-registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with adults in the NHS, voluntary sector, and private practice. I now work exclusively online, offering therapy to clients across the UK and internationally.

Clients often come to me during times of emotional distress, life transition, or when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, work-related stress, or simply feeling that something isn鈥檛 quite right. Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be heard.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person鈥檚 unique experience. I draw from psychodynamic and relational approaches, helping you to understand how past experiences may be influencing your present thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. Together, we鈥檒l explore these patterns and work towards greater clarity, emotional resilience, and lasting change.

I also offer solution-focused counselling for those seeking brief, goal-oriented work. This approach is particularly helpful if you want to address a specific issue or gain clarity around a particular situation. We鈥檒l focus on your strengths, resources, and what鈥檚 already working, helping you move forward with confidence.

You can expect me to listen carefully, reflect honestly, and support you in understanding yourself more fully. Whether our work is short or long term, the aim is to help you feel more empowered, grounded, and connected in your life.

My first session

In our first session, we鈥檒l explore what has brought you to counselling and begin identifying the goals you鈥檇 like to work towards. Solution-focused counselling is a brief, goal-oriented approach that helps you build on your existing strengths and resources to create meaningful change in your life.

We鈥檒l look at what鈥檚 working for you, what you鈥檇 like to be different, and how you鈥檒l know when things are improving. You don鈥檛 need to have all the answers. The session is a collaborative space where we focus on practical steps and positive change, rather than going into extensive past history unless it feels relevant to your goals.

By the end of the session, you鈥檒l have a clearer idea of what therapy might involve and whether this approach feels right for you. Many people find that even one or two sessions can help bring clarity and direction.
