Hi, I'm Connie and I help high achievers feel their success on the inside too. Maybe despite doing 'everything right' and striving for success, you find yourself feeling exhausted, disconnected from who you really are and wondering if this is really it.
I offer a supportive and honest space to examine your inner world and find the courage to experiment with new ways of living. I honour your ambition and help you harness it with compassion and clarity.
If you are ready to reconnect with who you are, what you want and how you want to live, contact me for a free 20‑minute exploratory call to discuss how we can work together.
I currently have availability for both in-person and online counselling. In-person work takes place from my therapy room in Shoreditch.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with high achievers who, despite doing 'everything right' and striving for success, find themselves feeling exhausted, disconnected from who they really are and wondering if 'this is it'.
Perhaps you've achieved a lot in your career but your unrelenting standards and harsh inner critic are pushing you towards burnout.
Maybe you're ticking all the boxes and running just to keep up and yet, somehow it doesn't feel enough. Maybe you feel low, empty, flat or numb.
Or maybe you’re so busy that you’ve forgotten how to slow down, feel content and make decisions that align with your values. Maybe your relationships are suffering as a result.
I work with:
- High acheivers
- Burnout, overwhelm & chronic exhaustion
- Anxiety, depression & low mood
- High standards & perfectionism
- Harsh self-talk & powerful inner critics
- Self-confidence, self-worth & re-evaluating success
- Nervous system dysregulation & psychoeducation & tools for regulation
- Values‑based living & boundary work
Together we will:
- Create a space for you to slow down and reflect on your experiences
- Build self‑awareness of your thoughts, feelings and internal cues - a process of unlearning the conditioning that taught you to ignore them
- Work with your nervous system to identify your patterns of dysregulation and learn tools that help you feel more regulated, engaged and at ease
- Support you to better manage stress and learn to set boundaries
- Disarm your inner critic that is pushing you to exhaustion and soften the harsh inner voice that is keeping you feeling stuck and not good enough
- Gradually experiment with different ways of being and doing until you find alignment between who you are, what you want and how you want to live
- Re‑define what success means for you, so you don’t have to rely on external approval or constant achievement for your worth
- Help you to feel your success on the inside
Practice description
I am a psychosynthesis counsellor with an integrative approach. My work is trauma-, systems- and nervous system-informed and I bring all of my skills in service of your individual process of change. I believe that sustainable change is a messy, ongoing practice. I'm not in the business of quick fixes but see my clients taking the steps to make real, sustainable change everyday in my practice.
Professional credentials
- Graduate and Postgraduate Diplomas in Psychosynthesis Counselling from The Psychosynthesis Trust in London (3 years)
- Working in-person and online since 2022
- Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÂ鶹Դ´)
- Continuing professional development in Gestalt therapy, Systemic Constellations and Plant Medicine work.
- Previous professional experiences as a lawyer (7+ years) and a yoga teacher (4+ years)
About Psychosynthesis and my approach
Psychosynthesis is my core training and underpins all of my therapeutic work. It draws upon psychodynamic, existential and transpersonal thought and acknowledges our individual uniqueness as well as our connection to the whole. Together we will examine what it means to be you, as informed by the wider context in which you live and work (family, society, culture & beyond).
I am also a qualified and experienced lawyer and yoga teacher and bring my understanding and experience from these roles into my work, where necessary. This may include mindfulness of the breath and body, meditation and guided imagery and tools for nervous system regulation. As a former lawyer, I have experience of working in highly demanding corporate environments and bring this lived experience to support those experiencing work-related issues, perfectionism, chronic stress and burnout.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute exploratory online call which allows us to meet one another and for you to decide whether you'd like to work with me.
Thereafter, I offer weekly sessions which are 50 minutes and take place online. Our work can be open-ended or, if you'd like to work on a specific issue, time-limited (e.g. 10, 15 or 20 sessions).
If you are unsure as to what you need or are new to therapy, please do not worry - I will guide you through everything you need to know and we'll go at a pace that suits you.
