Availability
I currently have availability for new clients and offer a range of flexible appointment times, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends because I understand that life doesn’t always fit neatly into a 9–5 schedule. We'll work together to find a time that suits you best.
My private office is located at Albion House, CF15 7TR, a welcoming and professional space designed with your comfort and access in mind.
The office is situated on the first floor, with lift access, accessible toilet facilities, and refreshments available. The building complies with full disability access requirements, and there is a waiting area just outside the room for anyone who may accompany you for support.
There’s also a designated client parking space available on-site, and plenty of local amenities nearby should your companion wish to wait elsewhere during your session.
In addition to in-person therapy, I offer online and telephone sessions, making it easy for you to access support from wherever you feel most comfortable.
I'm also open to working from an alternative venue of your choosing, provided it’s appropriate and supports a safe and confidential space for therapeutic work.
Please feel free to reach out if you have specific access needs or scheduling questions. I’m committed to making counselling accessible, inclusive, and responsive. I always reply to enquiries. Please check your spam or junk folder.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, flexible, and collaborative space where your unique voice and needs are at the heart of our work together.
As a pluralistic integrative counsellor, I believe that no single approach works for everyone. That’s why I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods including person-centred, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches to tailor our sessions to what feels most helpful and meaningful for you.
Rather than leading with a fixed model, I’ll work with you to explore what you want from therapy, and together we’ll shape a process that fits your pace, your preferences, and your goals. You are the expert in your own life and I’m here to walk alongside you with support, curiosity, and care.
I understand that each person brings their own set of experiences, identities, and challenges and I deeply respect and value difference and diversity in all its forms. Whether you're exploring your neurodivergence, navigating your gender or sexuality, working through past trauma, or seeking a deeper sense of self, I offer a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space for you to explore what matters most.
My work is:
Collaborative – we co-create the direction and focus of therapy
Flexible – we adapt as your needs evolve
Compassionate – I offer warmth, empathy, and acceptance
Neurodiversity-affirming – I welcome and understand diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and processing
LGBTQ+ inclusive – I hold space for all identities with respect, sensitivity, and affirmation
Trauma-informed – your safety and agency are always central to our work
I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into the therapy room, creating a space that’s real, grounded, and genuinely supportive.
Practice description
I offer a calm, compassionate, and inclusive therapeutic space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported just as you are.
I welcome people from all walks of life, and I have experience working with:
• Neurodivergent individuals (diagnosed or exploring)
• People from the LGBTQ+ community
• Clients navigating identity, trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or periods of change and uncertainty
You can expect our sessions to be led by empathy, respect, and curiosity. I’ll offer gentle guidance, reflective space, and practical tools where needed always shaped by what feels right for you. There is no pressure to "perform" or be a certain way in therapy. We’ll work at your pace, and everything we talk about will be held with care and confidentiality.
Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can breathe, make sense of your experiences, and begin to move toward the life you want with support that honours your full self.
My first session
Before we schedule our first full session, I offer a free telephone consultation. This is a relaxed and informal space for us to get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and explore how I might best support you. You’re welcome to ask any questions my goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and comfortable from the very beginning.
During this call, we’ll also complete a brief risk assessment, in line with Â鶹Դ´ ethical guidelines, to ensure we’re working in a safe and supportive way.
Depending on your circumstances or referral route, there may be additional requirements at the start of our work together. For example:
• If you're accessing therapy through an EAP (Employee Assistance Programme), I may need to complete specific assessment tools as part of their process.
• For children and young people, we may use tools like CORE-YP or similar, depending on age, needs, and developmental stage.
• For some clients, we might agree to use specific outcome measures or questionnaires to help guide and monitor our work but only if that feels right for you.
Whether you're accessing therapy as an individual, parent, young person, or through a service, I’ll always tailor our approach to fit your needs while working ethically, safely, and collaboratively.
The first full session will be an opportunity to begin gently exploring what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and what support might be most helpful. We'll take things at your pace.
