About me and my therapy practice

I believe that counselling is not about rushing toward solutions but about being heard, understood, and supported as you find your own way forward. Whether you are seeking space to grieve, to adapt to change, or to reconnect with yourself, I will walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and care.

I am an integrative counsellor specialising in supporting women through the profound transitions of menopause and those affected by infant or pregnancy loss. These experiences can feel isolating, overwhelming, or difficult to put into words. I provide a safe place to process grief, navigate changing emotions, and begin to rebuild a sense of self and hope.

Alongside my specialisms, I welcome anyone seeking support with anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, or periods of change in life.

Through my counselling work and also my role supporting families with young children, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds. I’ve learned that building strong, trusting relationships is fundamental to providing effective support — and this principle continues to guide everything I do.

Practice description

I offer short and long-term therapy in a warm, compassionate space, supporting you to explore your experiences, feelings, and challenges at your own pace. My approach draws from different therapeutic models, allowing me to tailor our work together to your unique needs. I also provide online and phone therapy sessions.

My therapy space is a private, purpose built garden room at my home, with free parking, a 5 minute drive/less than 20 minute walk from Salisbury hospital. There is fairly easy access, although there are two steps which make it unsuitable for wheelchairs.

My first session

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch—you’re welcome to email me or leave a voice message if you have any questions or are unsure about starting counselling. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

We can arrange a free telephone consultation to explore what is bringing you to counselling and to give you a sense of how I work. This initial conversation is a chance for you to see whether you feel comfortable speaking with me and to ask any questions you may have.

If you decide you would like to move forward, we can schedule your first session—either in person, online, or by telephone.
