About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred Psychotherapist & Counsellor who offers a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space. My approach is grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and change when met with empathic understanding.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling & the Psychotherapeutic Relationship from the University of Warwick (2023). My research dissertation explored the impact of menopause on counselling students, reflecting my longstanding interest in women’s reproductive health.
I bring both professional and personal insight to themes such as infertility, pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, pelvic pain, menopause, gynaecological issues and cancers. I am committed to offering a safe, compassionate space for individuals, their partners, and families to explore the emotional impact of these experiences.
As part of my training, I completed a two-year placement at The Hummingbird Centre, Oxfordshire, supporting clients affected by cancer and bereavement, including those approaching end of life.
I’ve completed specialist training with Cruse Bereavement Service, which deepened my understanding of grief and loss and how profoundly this experience can impact everyday life.
My earlier background in holistic therapies has deepened my understanding of how stress, anxiety, depression and trauma affect both mind and body—an approach informed by the work of Bessel van der Kolk in 'The Body Keeps the Score'.

Our sessions are guided by you — your needs, your pace and your story. I sit alongside you, offering deep listening and understanding, so that you can make sense of your life journey and find your own way forward. Rather than giving advice or directing you, together, we can explore your feelings and experiences, allowing your insights and strengths to emerge naturally.I have experience supporting people through:
Anxiety, stress, low mood & depression
Adjusting to illness and health-related concerns
Bereavement and loss
Child Sexual Abuse
Domestic Violence
Life transitions (including menopause and the death of a partner)
Moving on in life following cancer treatment
Relationship challenges and family dynamics
Terminal illness diagnosis and end of life care
Trauma and its ongoing impact
What to expect
In therapy with me, you can expect a gentle, collaborative process where you are truly heard and accepted. Together, we will create a therapeutic relationship that allows you to reconnect with yourself, develop greater self-understanding, and move toward the changes you wish to see.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute zoom call to answer any questions, discuss the counselling contract and client information form which I will email to you once we have agreed to work together.
Fees and Payment
I work online from my home, and my current fee is £60 per one hour session — reflecting the flexibility and reduced overheads of working online. I am also exploring offering face-to-face sessions around Oxfordshire in the near future.
Payment is made by bank transfer - and kindly requested at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, details will be provided separately.
Cancellations and Missed Sessions
I understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give at least 48 hours’ notice so that the appointment can be offered to someone else.
