About me and my therapy practice

I work relationally and in the moment. I wish to create a space where you can be begin to gain an understanding of yourself. 

To explore what doesn't feel quite right. 

It can be experimental in nature as well as more structured if that is what you prefer.  We can find a way that feels right. There is not a one size fits all approach. Understanding our emotions can be challenging and the way we experience them is different for everyone. 

I am neuro-affirming and have experience working with neurodivergent clients and understand that everyone expresses themselves differently. I offer flexible approaches, including walking therapy for those who feel more at ease in open spaces. Or a safe place indoors or by telephone. We can discuss this. 

Practice description

I believe that real change can only happen if you feel truly accepted as you are. My aim is for you to feel safe enough to be yourself. To feel you can make mistakes and ask questions without fear of judgment.

I will hold a nurturing space for you where I hope you will feel seen and affirmed. I will endeavour to be transparent all the way, together we can come up with the best way of working- as we all have differing needs and have a unique perception of the world.

In a society where we are asked to preform and fit in to roles that may go against our true nature can be exhausting and cause so many conflicts. My experience is that we all wear ‘masks’. But how long can we contain this for before we burn out?

I can step into this place with you and together we can try and make sense of it and find ways to approach it together. Sometimes it’s difficult to find words for feelings it may feel like a chore or a battle at times. We can be creative in sessions, there are no rules!

We all strive to be ‘somebody’ or the ‘best versions’ of ourselves, but at what cost? How do we live in a way that is authentic to us?

Developing as a person can be difficult and even feel rather confusing.


My first session

I realise it can somtimes feel quite daunting taking this first step so I offer a free 20 minute chat over the phone or in person. 

This can be the time to ask any questions you may have or just a chance to get a feel for eachother.
