About me and my therapy practice

I offer online therapy for children and young people aged 5–18, providing a safe, confidential, and supportive space where they can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. My work is integrative and creative, drawing on play-based and therapeutic approaches to support emotional expression and understanding.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, particularly when you are concerned about your child. I aim to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible, offering an initial opportunity to explore what support may be helpful.

Sessions take place online via Zoom and are tailored to each young person, with a focus on helping them feel comfortable and able to engage at their own pace. I offer both short-term and longer-term work depending on individual needs.

I work with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, and challenges relating to school, friendships, and confidence. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent young people, including those with Autism and ADHD.

Where appropriate, I work collaboratively with parents or carers to ensure the young person feels supported both within sessions and in their wider environment.

I currently have availability for online sessions and aim to respond to enquiries within 24–48 hours.

Practice description

I provide online therapy for children and young people aged 5–18, offering a safe, confidential, and supportive space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings.

I understand that seeking support for your child can feel like a big step, and I aim to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. Following an initial enquiry, I will gather some information to understand your child’s needs before arranging a first session or offering a brief initial call if helpful.

Sessions take place online via Zoom and are tailored to each young person, helping them to feel comfortable, engaged, and able to work at their own pace. I offer both short-term and longer-term support depending on individual needs.

I work with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, and challenges relating to school, friendships, and self-esteem. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent young people, including those with Autism and ADHD.

Where appropriate, I work collaboratively with parents or carers, recognising the importance of supporting the young person both within sessions and in their wider environment.

I aim to provide a calm, supportive starting point where young people can begin to feel understood and more able to manage what they are experiencing.

I currently offer online sessions and have availability for new clients.

My first session

The first step is to gently gather some information to help me understand what has been going on for your child and how I can best support them. This may involve completing a short form or having an initial conversation.

The first session is an opportunity for your child to meet me, begin to feel comfortable, and get a sense of what therapy may be like. I understand that this can feel like a big step, so sessions are paced gently and tailored to help them feel at ease.

We may begin to explore what has been happening for them, but there is no pressure to share everything straight away. Building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is an important part of the process.

Following the first session, we can review whether ongoing sessions feel helpful and agree on the next steps.
