About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome. I bring an authentic and compassionate presence to my work, driven by a passion for helping others.

I strive to create a safe space for you to discuss anything you wish to explore. My goal is to listen attentively and ensure I fully understand how you feel. I am genuine, down-to-earth, and transparent, providing an environment free from judgment or external evaluation. I aim to offer sensitive and thoughtful responses that help you connect with your deeper feelings and inner wisdom, allowing you to make sense of your experiences and move towards healing and self-discovery.

I have a particular interest in working with those who are suffering from trauma, loss and grief and who are experiencing many changes and transitions for a variety of reasons. I work with adults in the following areas.

-Loss and grief

-Living with illness and life-limiting conditions

-Relationship issues and boundaries

-Change through career shifts

-Changes from pregnancy and menopause

-Changes in identity

-Self-esteem and self-confidence

I have faced my own difficulties in life, which have allowed me to gain insight, depth, and a better understanding of the struggles others face. I recognise the significance of seeking counselling support, and how scary and daunting this can feel and this awareness helps me stay grounded and humble in my work.

Throughout my career, I have always worked with people in 3rd sector organisations supporting with anxiety, depression and work-related issues and for charities such as Cruse Bereavement and currently work as a counsellor in a hospice supporting those who are facing life-limiting conditions or are experiencing a loss or bereavement.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome. I bring an authentic and compassionate presence to my work, driven by a passion for helping others.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space enables clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we can identify unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and relating to yourself, helping you move forward with greater clarity, self-awareness, and confidence.

Life can sometimes leave us feeling unheard, unsupported, or as though our thoughts and emotions are not fully understood. Over time, this can lead us to question our own experiences and lose trust in ourselves. I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and talk about what matters most to you at your own pace. My aim is to ensure you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as we work together towards meaningful and lasting change.

I have a particular interest in working with those who are suffering from trauma, loss and grief and who are experiencing many changes and transitions.
