About me and my therapy practice
I practice from an integrative theraputic perspective, drawing from multiple evidence-based approaches to tailor treatment to each client's needs and circumstances. This flexibility allows me to adapt my methods to what works best for you, rather than applying a one size fits all approach. I believe in creating a collaborative theraputic relationship where you will feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
Practice description
I specialise in working with adults who are navigating various life challenges and mental health concerns. My practice welcomes individuals from all backgrounds who are seeking support and positive change in their lives. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length and scheduled weekly particularly at the beginning of our work together. As therapy progresses and you develop greater stability and coping skills, we may adjust the frequency based on your needs and progress. The weekly structure provides consistency and momentum, allowing us to build on insights and skills from session to session while maintaining theraputic continuity.
My first session
I offer a free initial telephone conversation to all potential clients. This allows us both to explore whether we might be a good fit. During this call you can ask questions about my approach and share what brought you to seek therapy and get a sense of how I work.
Once we decide to work together our first session is a full 50 minute appointment focused on information gathering. This is your opportunity to voice your thoughts and feelings, share your story and help me understand what has brought you to therapy.
