About me and my therapy practice
If you are looking at my profile, you have made what might have felt like a difficult decision to ask for help. I would like to say, asking for help is the most difficult part, but unfortunately it is not. The change you are hoping for, has only just begun.
My name is Selina, and I am an Integrative counsellor who was originally trained in Person-centred counselling, and have since trained in many different therapeutic approaches, in order to offer a bespoke and uniquely tailored counselling session to every client.
I believe that the answers to your life, lie within you, you are the best person to know you, however, life can be difficult, and our experiences can change our life path. We can become low, overwhelmed, confused, and feel there may not be anywhere to turn, but there is, and you reading my counselling profile suggests that you are ready to make that positive change. I have trained to a Masters degree (MSc) level in Counselling, which means I am competent in several proven theories in counselling.
I currently offer in-person, online and telephone counselling options to anyone over the UK. During counselling I can offer you non-judgement, confidentiality, and the space to safely organise your thoughts, which will allow positive change to happen. I am a member of the 麻豆原创 (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), and follow their ethical framework, which signifies that I work to an ethically high standard.
I hear clients say, 鈥渂ut there are so many more people out there, that are worse off than me鈥, however, life is relative, and if it is affecting you, then it is important. You will not be tied into a set number of sessions, or be told what is best for you, your sessions are just that, yours, and it is up to you how the sessions flow, and how many you have.
Practice description
I am currently offering in-person, online and telephone counselling. In-person counselling takes place in Bromsgrove town centre, for those able to attend face to face session. I also offer online and telephone counselling, which can benefit a client if they have a busy schedule, struggle with childcare, not enough time in the day, for example, because it allows the client to access counselling from the place of their choosing. You can access counselling from the comfort of your own home, sat in your car, from a quiet space at work, or even sat in a space you find most comfortable. As I ask is for you to be in a safe and quiet environment, somewhere you are comfortable, and somewhere where you can sit safely by yourself.
Counselling sessions are client led, which means that I will follow your lead. The client brings whatever it is they wish to talk about to every session, and I will support them with what they bring.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, and you choose how frequently you would like them to be.
