Availability

I am currently accepting new clients.

I offer in鈥憄erson and online sessions, Monday to Thursday.

Please note that I do not currently offer evening appointments and operate a waiting list for these times.

I offer a free telephone or online consultation (around 15 minutes). This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, and explore whether working together feels right.

About me and my therapy practice

You wake up with your body already tense 鈥 heart racing, jaw clenched, mind jumping ahead to what could go wrong. You replay conversations, worry about saying the wrong thing, and feel constantly on alert.

On the outside, you seem capable and composed. Inside, it feels exhausting and lonely. Even small decisions 鈥 what to wear, whether to reply to a message 鈥 can feel heavy.

If this sounds familiar, there is nothing wrong with you. These are normal responses to experiences that have taught your nervous system to stay vigilant.

And you don鈥檛 have to keep living like this.

There was a time when I focused on keeping everyone else happy and had lost touch with who I was. Therapy helped me reconnect with myself, and that lived experience shapes how I work with clients today.

Imagine a life where you鈥

  • can slow your thoughts and experience moments of genuine calm
  • trust yourself 鈥 your instincts, boundaries, and decisions
  • feel more at ease in your body
  • have relationships where you don鈥檛 feel 鈥渢oo much鈥 or 鈥渘ot enough鈥
  • feel less defined by past experiences and more present in your life
  • begin to recognise yourself again

What to expect if you choose to work with me

Your sessions are your space. You decide what feels important to bring, and we work at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I won鈥檛 give advice or tell you what to do 鈥 you are the expert in your own experience. I鈥檓 not a distant or neutral therapist, however. I will challenge patterns, reflect what I notice, and offer perspectives that support deeper understanding and healing.

Areas we may work with include:

Self鈥慏iscovery & Identity
Exploring who you are beneath roles, expectations, and people鈥憄leasing.

Healing Trauma
Working compassionately with past experiences so they have less influence on your present.

Anxiety & Nervous System Regulation
Developing ways to feel more grounded and settled.

Self鈥慦orth & Self鈥慍ompassion
Softening the inner critic and developing a kinder relationship with yourself.

Practice description

I work integratively, tailoring therapy to each individual. My approach is rooted in humanistic therapy and informed by trauma-aware and mindfulness-based practices.

In early sessions, we鈥檒l take time to understand what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, how your experiences have shaped you, and what you鈥檙e hoping for from our work together. Where helpful, we may use gentle assessment tools to support this understanding.

Above all, I aim to offer a collaborative, respectful therapeutic relationship where you feel able to explore your inner world without pressure or judgement.

About me personally

Alongside professional training, I bring lived experience. I鈥檝e been a mother, business owner, and mature student, and have navigated my own experiences of trauma, anxiety, and self-worth challenges.

This personal understanding supports me in meeting clients with empathy, respect, and a belief in their capacity for change.

My first session

Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you鈥檙e used to holding things together or worrying about getting it 鈥渞ight鈥. The first session is designed to be gentle, unhurried, and led by you.

There鈥檚 no pressure to share everything straight away. We鈥檒l go at a pace that feels manageable, and you鈥檙e always in control of what you choose to talk about.

In our first session, we鈥檒l usually:

  • talk a little about what鈥檚 brought you to therapy now
  • explore what you鈥檙e hoping for from our work together
  • begin to understand how your experiences may be affecting you in the present
  • look at any practical questions you have about therapy

We鈥檒l also spend some time going through the practicalities of working together, including confidentiality, boundaries, and the therapeutic contract, so you know what to expect and can ask any questions you may have.

You don鈥檛 need to prepare anything in advance. Some people come with lots to say; others aren鈥檛 sure where to start. Both are completely okay.

My role is to help you feel met, understood, and supported as we begin to build a therapeutic relationship. Over time, this relationship becomes the foundation for deeper work.
