About me and my therapy practice

My practice is centered around acceptance of you as an individual. I provide a safe space to be heard and validated without judgment, pressure, or expectation. I feel that my genuine approach and kind, warm nature positively impacts my relationships with clients which is essential for therapeutic success. Together, we will work to explore and understand what is happening beneath the surface, identify patterns, and make links between the past and the present. I believe that this is the key to building self-awareness and self-love.

Our sessions will be at your own pace and focused on what is important to you. You will be supported and encouraged to find your own way forward when faced with adversity. Along the way, I will be there to assist you, whether that involves building resilience, setting boundaries, developing healthy coping strategies, or something else.

Practice description

I offer face-to-face sessions from my private practice in Kidderminster, as well as online sessions.

I use an integrative model which draws upon commonalities between cognitive-behavioural, humanistic and psychodynamic counselling approaches and allows me to tailor my work to meet the needs of each individual client. My approach is holistic, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects.

In my years of experience as a counsellor, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, presenting with wide-ranging issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and loss.

I have a First-Class undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. In addition, I have a vast amount of experience supporting both adults and children in a variety of therapeutic roles within NHS primary care, charity and private health settings. Within these roles, I have completed a significant amount of further training, which I utilise within my practice. I am also fully insured.
