About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and welcome.
I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step into therapy, but you're here, ready to make that journey.
I'm Claire, an integrative psychotherapist. I offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space for you to explore whatever is going on in your life, at your own pace, in your own way, and without judgment.
I believe that every person deserves to be heard, understood, and accepted for who they truly are. In our work together, you won't be given advice, labelled, or told what to do. Instead, I will offer you empathy, respect, and genuine presence. I’ll walk alongside you as you make sense of your feelings and experiences—and begin to move toward the life you want to live.
Therapy can be a decisive step toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding. Whether you’re going through something difficult right now or feel that something doesn’t feel quite right, you don’t have to go through it alone.
Practice description
My approach is rooted in the belief that the client is ultimately the expert in their own lives. To facilitate this, we will work as a partnership throughout. The space will have no judgment, empathy, and a nondirective approach. The emphasis will be on working in the present moment, keeping in mind that current events can trigger memories of past experiences.
I work with the whole person, including exploring belief systems and examining self-beliefs to determine whether they remain true today. The impact of the world we live in and how this connects to the presenting issues and beyond
I am here to support you towards taking the first brave step towards change.

My first session
Initially, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone session to explore how I can support you and determine if I'm a good fit for your journey.
If you are interested in working with me, I will send you a contract to review. A small part of the first session will be spent checking you’re happy with this if you choose to work with me.
During the first session, we will establish the help you need and how you prefer this to be delivered, along with any aims or goals you may have. If you’re unsure about what you need, don’t worry - we’ll work it out together. This will be the start of building the secure, trusting therapeutic relationship needed for you to address your struggles and allow you to live your life fully.
Whatever your reason for reaching out, you have taken your first difficult step. Now we can journey together.
