About Me:

Hello, I’m Amanda Fryer, an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (Âé¶¹Ô­´´ Registered | NCPS Accredited). I provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions safely.

I work with adults and teens, supporting challenges such as trauma, anxiety, grief, and neurodiversity. My approach combines Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Transactional Analysis, and Psychodynamic methods, tailoring each session to meet your individual needs.


Practice description

Through gentle exploration and practical strategies, I help clients build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healthy boundaries. My belief is that lasting change happens when we feel truly seen and understood.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (Âé¶¹Ô­´´ Registered | NCPS Accredited) with several years’ experience working with individuals, schools, and organisations.

My practice is rooted in empathy, authenticity and empowerment. I believe that healing begins when we are met with genuine understanding. I offer a calm, non-judgemental environment where you can explore difficult emotions, recognise patterns of behaviour, and begin to make positive change at your own pace.

I work with adults and young people experiencing a range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, neurodiversity, and emotional dysregulation. My integrative approach draws on Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Transactional Analysis, and Psychodynamic theories, allowing me to tailor sessions uniquely to you.

Together, we explore the connection between your past and present experiences, helping you to understand the beliefs that shape your thoughts, emotions and relationships. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, resilience and clarity about who you are and where you want to be.

Alongside one-to-one counselling, I also run workshops and wellbeing programmes through AIMS Elevate and AIMS Blackpool Community CIC, supporting emotional education, communication skills and personal growth across schools, workplaces and community projects.



My first session

If you book on my website a first assessment , we have a small 30 minute chat. 

We will contract together on the first session. This enables us to set our boundary styles together and see a way forward. 

Clients often describe my sessions as supportive, grounding and empowering — a space where they feel free to be themselves and rediscover their strength. My role is to walk alongside you as you work towards balance, self-acceptance and inner confidence.
