About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist working with adults of all ages.

What I can offer you is a safe therapeutic space in which to explore and make sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. I will support you, at your own pace, on your journey towards a better understanding of yourself and whatever might be going on for you. It is important to me that you feel able to bring yourself just as you are; no feelings or thoughts are 'bad' and you will be able to express yourself in a language that feels authentic to you, without judgement.

Having a psychodynamic approach, I will be mindful of how your past experiences may influence your current patterns of thinking, feeling and in relating to others.

Practice description

My practice is in the town centre of Richmond Upon Thames(TW9) where I currently see clients in person. There is usually ample parking within walking distance of the practice and within a court yard should you wish to cycle.

I offer weekly face to face sessions in a confidential therapeutic space.

I also offer remote sessions, either phone or online.

I work with individual adults of all ages and have experience with working with people with speech difficulties and disability.

Please note that my practice room is on the 2nd floor of a building without a lift.

My first session

It is important to find the 'right fit' when looking for personal therapy and I would encourage you to take your time.

I will view our first session as a time for us to explore what your hopes and needs might be, and to see if the way I work would be helpful to you.

Email me to arrange a free 10 minute phone call when we can figure out whether we may be a right fit to work together. This is not a counselling session, but an opportunity to decide on booking a first session in person.
