Availability
Sessions take place in a calm, confidential private office on Cathedral Road in Pontcanna, Cardiff on Fridays and I currently have availability.
I offer a limited number of slots outside of 9–5 for clients who need more flexibility. Because these times are in higher demand and fall outside standard working hours, they are charged at a slightly higher rate.
About me and my therapy practice
In my practice, I strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment where you can feel safe to explore whatever’s on your mind. My therapeutic style is supportive, empathic, and rooted in respect and understanding and clients have told me that they are surprised at how easy they find me to talk to.
An important part of my practice is making sure you never feel judged, dismissed, or made to feel different in therapy. I care deeply about supporting all people and believe everyone deserves understanding, respect, and empathetic care.
Sessions take place in a private, confidential office on the first floor with lift access, soft lighting, minimal noise, and fidget toys. Eye contact is not required and the space aims to be welcoming to those with sensory needs.
Practice description
I offer trauma-informed therapy, grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My approach is collaborative and designed to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to build your strength and confidence. I work with you to navigate life’s challenges, whether you're struggling with stress, confusion, or difficult emotions. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you gain clarity, feel more in control, and find ways to cope with what you’re facing.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailoring my methods to meet your unique needs. This may involve exploring past experiences, understanding how they shape your present, and developing practical coping strategies to manage difficult emotions. Throughout our work together, my focus is always on providing a non-judgmental and compassionate space where you can feel truly understood.
I believe that therapy is a partnership, so I will work alongside you, adapting the sessions to your needs. Whether you're seeking short-term support for a specific issue or longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns, we will create a plan that works for you and evolves as your needs change.
My first session
I offer a free 30-minute online consultation. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the process and get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you. It's also a chance for me to understand what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and whether my approach aligns with your needs.
We’ll discuss any concerns you may have and I’ll explain how therapy works, including the practical aspects like scheduling and payment. This session is a space to build rapport and decide if you’d like to continue working together.
There are no additional fees for the first consultation, and no commitment is required after it. Should you choose to move forward, our sessions will be tailored to address your specific needs and goals.
