About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Rachel, and I am a fully qualified therapist and registered member of the Â鶹Դ´. I offer psychotherapy for a broad range of issues, many of which centre around anxiety, OCD, neurodivergence, trauma, loss, self-esteem and relationship issues.
Counselling can support us to understand ourselves better, reframe the way we experience ourselves and can help us to open up to the possibility of change. My aim is to foster a safe, reliable space for us to work together on the difficulties that have been affecting you, and in turn discover more self-supportive and rewarding ways of being in the world.
Reaching out can be the most difficult step, but you will find me to be a warm, supportive and down-to-earth therapist. If you have a feeling that I may be a good fit for you or if you'd like to ask a question, please do get in touch.
Practice description
I hold a BA (Hons) in Counselling and in Continuing Professional Development to maintain, improve, and broaden my knowledge and skills.
My training and practice is integrative and draws on humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive approaches, meaning that I can flexibly adapt to each individual's evolving needs. That said, I hold the therapeutic relationship as foundational and greatest opportunity for healing and growth.
