About me and my therapy practice
I know life can become overwhelming at times, and looking for a counsellor can be a daunting thought. You may have had counselling in the past, or this may be your first time, but you’re here now, and reaching out is the first step.
Working with an integrative, holistic approach, means that I have been trained in different approaches and collaboratively, we can tailor make an approach to best suit your individual needs, as I believe that one size does not fit all.
I offer both short and long term therapy both face to face and online. The aim being to improve emotional discomfort and help to build your self-esteem, empowering you to bring about change in a supported and contained environment.
Practice description
Working with adults in a calm, non-judgemental and supportive environment, I will provide an empathetic space, where you feel seen and truly listened to. I will support you, to navigate through what is happening for you, and help you to explore your patterns of relating and bring the unconscious to the conscious.
My practise is in a lovely building with off street parking and close to local stations and bus stops.
My first session
You may have a clear picture of what it is that has brought you here, or you may not have the answers, and that's ok. In the first session we will explore and assess what is coming up for you, what it is you need support with initially and build a connection.
I will also aim to answer any questions or concerns that you have as we embark on a journey together, to support you as you navigate the river of life. What you bring initially may change as you begin to become more self-aware of your needs.

Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Body/somatic therapy, Cultural issues, Depression, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Menopause, Men's issues, Neurodiversity, OCD, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
