About me and my therapy practice
I became a therapist after a long career in the arts, which gave me a unique insight into the challenges and complexities of life. So often we put on a mask and try to hide the struggles we’re living with — from others and from ourselves — the anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, and relationship difficulties that can take such a toll and feel so hard to give voice to.
That background shapes the way I work as a therapist: with care, sensitivity, and a genuine desire to help you lift that mask, express how you’re feeling, and make sense of what you’re going through.
I believe therapy should be shaped around what you need, not something prescriptive. In our sessions you will have the time and space to talk in your own way, at your own pace. Together, we might explore what’s happening in your life right now, gently connect present struggles with past experiences, or find ways to manage overwhelming feelings.
However difficult things are, I will be there for you. I’ll hear and see you, and I’ll support you with kindness and consideration in building clarity, choice, and meaningful change.
Therapy can be a chance to begin relating to yourself with greater self-worth, confidence, and strength. Please get in touch if something here resonates with you. I offer a free initial consultation so you can get a feel for how I work and whether I’m the right therapist for you.
I work with people in London and online who are facing anxiety, depression, trauma and complex trauma, self-esteem difficulties, attachment issues, grief and loss, ADHD, and emotional overwhelm.
