About me and my therapy practice
I became a psychotherapist after a long career in the arts. It showed me how people often carry emotional pain, pressure, and uncertainty quietly, sometimes hidden beneath the appearance of coping, self-reliance or even creativity.
Perhaps you find yourself overthinking interactions, doubting yourself afterwards, or holding things in because you are unsure how much of yourself feels safe to show. At times, you may feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or exhausted by trying to keep everything together.
Therapy
Therapy offers a space where you no longer have to keep parts of yourself hidden in order to cope. With warmth, sensitivity, and care, I offer a calm and supportive relationship where we can begin to make sense of what feels emotionally overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to carry, and gradually explore the deeper experiences that may be shaping how you feel, relate to others, and respond to yourself.
Change
As therapy progresses, people often find that they feel calmer, more grounded, and less caught in self-criticism or overthinking. Relationships can begin to feel more manageable, and emotions less consuming. You may find it easier to set boundaries, trust your reactions more, and feel less emotionally pulled by the needs and expectations around you.
My background in the arts means I’m comfortable working with complexity, sensitivity, and emotional intensity, without needing to simplify your experience or move too quickly towards solutions. Therapy can become a place where deeper understanding leads to meaningful and lasting change.
I work with adults in London and online, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and complex trauma, relationship and attachment difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, grief and loss, ADHD-related challenges, and BPD or EUPD.
