Availability
I offer online therapy sessions via Microsoft Teams or by telephone, which allows me to work with adults across the UK. Sessions are scheduled at regular weekly times where possible, and I currently have availability in the evenings during the week.
Session types and pricing
Standard weekly session 鈥 50 minutes (拢75)
This is the core format I offer, ideal for ongoing support and reflection. Most clients find that regular, weekly sessions give the best opportunity to notice patterns, process experiences, and build insight and resilience over time.
One-off extended session 鈥 90 minutes (拢125)
For times when you need the space to gain clarity, step back, and make sense a specific issue, I offer a limited number of one-off 90-minute extended sessions. These sessions provide space to explore a situation more deeply, reflect on patterns, and begin planning practical next steps.
Concession sessions 鈥 50 minutes (拢45)
A very limited number of sessions are available for trainees and low-income LGBTQ+ clients. These are offered on a self-declared basis, and I trust clients to be genuine in their self-assessment. Please enquire for availability.
All sessions are collaborative, and my approach balances warmth, curiosity, and practical strategies. Therapy is an investment in yourself, and sessions are designed to be safe, contained, and meaningful.
About me and my therapy practice
At times, life can feel quietly disconnected - from yourself, from others, or from a sense of meaning or direction. If you鈥檙e noticing patterns that keep repeating, emotions that feel hard to manage, or relationships that leave you feeling unsure or unseen, therapy can offer a space to pause and make sense of what鈥檚 really going on.
My approach is grounded in the person-centred approach, which means you鈥檒l be met with warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity, without judgement or pressure. I aim to offer a space where you can explore your experiences openly, at your own pace.
When it鈥檚 helpful, I also integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools to bring practical structure into our work. This can support you in noticing patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and in finding ways of responding that feel more supportive and aligned.
Relationships are often at the heart of therapy. Together, we might explore how you relate to others, how you relate to yourself, and how past experiences may still be influencing the present. This can include looking at boundaries, needs, communication, and emotional patterns, with the aim of building deeper connection, trust, and self-understanding.
Practice description
I work with adults navigating relationships, identity, communication, and emotional overwhelm - whether this shows up in family dynamics, friendships, work, or dating. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck or uncertain about how to move forward, either within themselves or in their relationships.
Others are carrying grief or trauma, or are trying to redefine who they are after loss, major life transitions, or years of putting others first. I also have experience supporting adults processing historic childhood sexual abuse, historic sexual trauma, and loss, including the loss of a loved one, a sense of safety, or a version of yourself.
I offer an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients, particularly those navigating identity, belonging, boundaries, or self-acceptance.
Therapy with me isn鈥檛 about being 鈥渇ixed.鈥 It does ask something of you. You鈥檒l be invited to be both vulnerable and accountable, and at times the work may feel uncomfortable, but never unsafe or rushed. My role isn鈥檛 to give you answers, but to help you gently get to the heart of what鈥檚 really going on. The most meaningful and lasting change often comes from the realisations you arrive at yourself, with the right support alongside you.
Whether you鈥檙e carrying old wounds, struggling to express your needs, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply and invest in your emotional wellbeing, therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and move forward in a way that feels more authentic and grounded.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call for new clients. This is a brief, informal conversation to answer any questions you may have, explain how I work, and help you decide if therapy with me feels like a good fit. Please enquire for availability.
Therapy is an investment in yourself, and the first session is an opportunity to begin that process with care and intention.
The first session is usually 50 minutes (unless you鈥檝e chosen a one-off 90-minute extended session) and offers a space to begin exploring what鈥檚 brought you to therapy and what you鈥檇 like to focus on in more depth.
