About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Lucy welcome to my page.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, or dealing with deep emotional pain, my aim is to offer you a warm, confidential, non-judgmental space that allows you to feel heard, understood, and empowered. In our work together, we will explore past experiences, present struggles, and future goals, enabling you to make meaningful changes in your life.
As a psychodynamic therapist, my approach involves exploring past experiences including childhood, family, friends and other relationships. The Psychodynamic framework allows time to explore the therapeutic process to meet the unique needs of each client.
We will work together at a pace that works for you and my role is to support you in exploring your emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and past experiences in ways that promote insight and self-awareness.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is central to the healing process, and I place a strong emphasis on creating a trusting and collaborative relationship.
If you would like to arrange a free 10 minute phone call to talk about how we could work together, please book in an introductory call or email me.
My first session
The first step is a free 10 minute introductory call which gives you an opportunity to discuss your reasons for therapy.
If you decide to start therapy, the first session is an assessment which will give us the opportunity to get to know each other. It will also give me the opportunity to answer any questions you may have.
