About me and my therapy practice
Welcome. I鈥檓 a Relational Therapist who works with the full breadth of human experience. I support individuals, couples, siblings, family members, colleagues and friends, not because I specialise only in 鈥渞elationships,鈥 but because everything we live is relational.
How you feel about yourself shapes how you move through work, family life, friendships, intimacy, conflict, and purpose. And how you see yourself is often influenced by the way you navigated childhood, adolescence, and the twists and turns that followed.
We are always in relationship with someone or something. The way we relate to the world today tells us a lot deal about the impact of what we experienced we still carry. So this is where we begin: here, in the present. You come as you are, the culmination of everything lived, and together we work towards releasing what no longer serves you, allowing space for you to more freely express who you are.
Re-learning that the body doesn鈥檛 lie can offer a powerful counter to a mind overwhelmed with intrusive thoughts like doubt, shame, guilt and self-criticism. Emotions, thoughts and memories, even though invisible, can affect our body (eg: nervous system), often fuelling loops of anxiety, self-doubt, low mood, or burnout. Anxiety, for example, often signals a disconnection from the body鈥檚 natural sensing. If left unresolved, these 鈥榠nvisible鈥 stressors can impact energy levels, concentration, sleep, libido, confidence, and self-regard.
The therapeutic relationship matters. I take seriously the responsibility of offering a confidential, attuned and transparent space. I work in a way that supports vitality and presence, willing to challenge when useful, yet sensitive to what each client needs.
Whether you鈥檙e moving through crisis, navigating relationship change, or exploring deeper questions of identity and purpose, I offer a safe and dynamic space for exploration, realisation and evolution.
Practice description
My approach has grown from more than 26yrs in energy-aware bodywork, healing and talking therapies, giving me the settlement to receive and an awareness of how the energy of emotions and thoughts, our body, inner quality and our environment interact, and our related patterns of reaction and response.
My professional experience spans private practice, NHS services, Employee Assistance Programmes, school counselling with 15鈥18-year-olds, and corporate wellbeing settings. I have extensive experience supporting medical professionals, academics, creatives, innovators and individuals in corporate leadership or high-pressure roles.
My work has also been shaped by many years travelling, living and working across Australasia, Asia, North America, Canada, Africa, the Middle East and Europe. These cross-cultural experiences support my work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with the complexities of identity, belonging and difference.
Alongside my clinical practice, I write about the evolving relationship between therapy and Ai, relative to both clients and therapists. I bring attention to the irreplaceable role of embodied presence in an age increasingly shaped by automation. Working Together
Most clients begin with weekly sessions. The number of sessions varies with each person鈥檚 particular needs, and how actively they integrate their therapeutic insights into daily life. I usually recommend an initial 3 to 6 sessions to assess your needs, with regular reviews to clarify whether short-, medium- or long-term work is most appropriate.
There is no obligation to commit to a fixed programme; rather, the structure remains flexible and responsive, designed to support you, both in and beyond the therapeutic space.
Sessions are 50 minutes.
I am keen to support you in your everyday life, so that therapy is seen as a resource for your expansion in the world, and your advances are not confined to the clinic room. I work short term and long term, in-person and online, with clients in the UK and globally.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome. You may have landed here for any number of reasons, seeking support for yourself, as a couple, or on behalf of someone else. Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming, but most of us here offer a free initial Zoom call (no obligation) so you can sense for yourself whether the fit feels right.
I鈥檓 a Relational Therapist, working with individuals and couples. At the heart of my practice is the understanding that how we relate to others, beginning with how we relate to ourselves, shapes the way we experience life. Whether I鈥檓 working in a clinical room, a school, or a corporate setting, I begin from the same principle: no one is broken. Therapy with me supports not just insight and realisation, but integration, so that the body, mind and inner essence, can come back into connection, and you live life in full from there.
I鈥檝e lived and worked across Asia, Africa and the UK. My clinical experience spans private practice, school-based counselling, NHS and EAP services, and corporate wellbeing. I also work with medical professionals, teachers, and leaders in high-pressure roles.
My approach has evolved through a long-standing career in bodywork, healing, and talking therapies. It blends psychodynamic insight with Psychodynamic and the Clarkson 5-Strand Relationship Model, and a strong foundation in somatic awareness. It means that I pay attention to what you say, how your body responds and the changing energetic quality in the room.
Practice description
The therapeutic relationship matters. I take seriously the responsibility of holding a confidential, attuned, and transparent space. I work in a way that supports vitality and presence, ready to challenge when helpful, and able to respond flexibly to each client鈥檚 unique needs. I endeavour to live in a way that supports that, walking my talk, and talking my walk.
The Experience I Bring into the Room:
鈥 Individual and couples therapy (online and in-person)
鈥 Group facilitation and reflective practice
鈥 School-based counselling
鈥 Therapeutic support for medical professionals (NHS and private)
鈥 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) support across corporate, education and health sectors
鈥 Crisis work and triage in mental health: trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation
鈥 Design and delivery of global wellbeing programmes for multinationals
Alongside my therapeutic work, I write about the evolving relationship between therapy and Ai, exploring how therapists can meet this changing landscape with clarity, ethical responsibility and relational depth. I bring attention to the irreplaceable role of embodied presence in an age of automation. You can also get more of a sense of what it may be like to work with me by reading some of the articles. My first session
Introduction Video Call 鈥 No charge, no obligation.
At its foundation, therapy is a relationship, and it is important to discern the person you intend to work with. You can contact me for a connect video call (up to 30mins) to discuss what you are looking for and get a sense of each other. If agreeable, we would book your first session.
What to expect in our first session
Every therapeutic relationship is different, as every client is different. So the first session offers a gentle and practical start, an opportunity to connect and establish the foundation of working together based on what your intentions are.
You鈥檙e welcome to share what brings you to therapy, but there鈥檚 no pressure to explain everything at once. I鈥檒l offer reflections, answer any questions, and you鈥檒l get a sense of how I work. We鈥檒l discuss length and frequency of your counselling programme going forward. Most importantly, it鈥檚 a chance to notice whether the space feels connected, clear and helpful for you.
My practice is shaped by lived experience across cultures and modalities: spoken therapy, somatic (body-based) practice, and energy awareness. Whether addressing recent, to long term states of anxiety and depression, embedded relationship patterns, to cultural displacement, identity questions or professional burnout, I offer a space that is unimposing, steady, respectful, and transformative.
I am keen to support you in your everyday life, so that therapy is seen as a resource for your expansion in the world, and your advances are not confined to the clinic room. I work short term and long term, in-person and online, with clients in the UK and globally.
