Hello, and welcome to my page! Reaching out for help is a brave and important step. Your journey towards healing starts right here, and I'm so glad you've chosen to take it!

I'm Eugenie, an integrative therapist working in Forres and Portgordon, Moray, Scotland. I provide online sessions from Monday to Friday and in-person therapy from Monday to Thursday in Portgordon and Buckie. On Fridays, I see clients at Healthworks, Forres.

Please email me to schedule your appointment or to discuss how I can assist you and how we can work together. I'm happy to answer any questions via email or phone.

About me and my therapy practice

My experience includes Person-Centred Counselling, Mental Health Psychology, CBT, managing and treating Personality Disorders, understanding the impacts of Abuse, Relationships and Family issues, NLP Coaching, and Complementary and Spiritual Therapies. I adopt an integrative approach, adapting strategies to suit your unique needs, circumstances, and goals.

I work with clients aged 16 and older who seek counselling for various reasons, such as anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship issues, neurodiversity, identity or personality concerns, grief, trauma, confidence loss, and questions related to work, business, personal life, or spirituality.

If you're thinking about counselling, you might be facing similar challenges, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about how to progress. You could be repeating the same patterns, questioning your choices, having difficulties in relationships, or feeling that life has become more difficult than necessary, when in fact it could be much easier, lighter, and more fulfilling.

I'm pleased you're thinking of seeking help, and I'm here to support you. Many tell me I am easy to talk to. I create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore anything on your mind at your own speed, with peace of mind, knowing you'll be met with compassion, honesty, and respect.

We will explore your experiences together to better understand your goals, challenges, strengths, and aspirations. I will be there to support and empower you as you move forward.

Practice description

Some clients come to me with a particular issue, while others view counselling as a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings, seek personal growth, explore their identity, or manage life's transitions. Regardless of your reason for seeking help, my role is to assist you in gaining deeper understanding, clearer insights, and increased confidence in your choices.

When we work together, you decide the length, frequency, and intensity of your sessions, so your therapy journey is completely guided by you. You can choose to explore solution-focused single-session therapy, a limited number of short-term sessions, or ongoing long-term counselling.

You can also ask for a more directive, structured, and goal-focused approach to your therapy, which we can discuss and create together.

Each session lasts 50 minutes and can be held either online or in person. We'll go at a pace that's comfortable for you, focusing on what matters most to your unique situation.

To ensure my work is safe and effective, I adhere to the Â鶹ԭ´´ Ethical Framework and engage in ongoing personal and professional development and supervision.

My first session

Finding the right counsellor is really important, and I invite my clients to use the first session to see whether my approach feels right for them. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to explore together how we can best support your journey.

We will talk about your current concerns and any goals for therapy. This is also your chance to ask questions about the counselling process and to see if you feel comfortable working with me.

You can schedule your appointment by contacting me here or messaging me on my website. After we confirm the date and time for our first meeting, I will send you a Zoom link for an online session or provide directions to the clinic for an in-person visit. Additionally, I will ask you to complete the Client Intake Form on my website before our first meeting.
