I currently offer online counselling only, with sessions available on weekday mornings and afternoons. This means you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home, without the added stress of travel or disruption to your day. I also offer a free initial consultation, giving you a chance to meet me and see if we feel like a good fit before committing to ongoing sessions. If I鈥檓 away or unavailable, I鈥檒l let you know in advance and, where possible, offer alternative times so your support remains consistent.About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I鈥檓 Amber鈥攁 neurodivergent therapist who knows what it feels like to be exhausted from burnout, constant masking, and trying to 鈥渉old it all together.鈥 My passion is helping women who feel stuck in shame or overwhelm reconnect with who they really are.
I bring both professional expertise (an Masters in Counselling from the University of Edinburgh, 5+ years鈥 experience) and lived understanding to my work. Clients often tell me they finally feel seen and accepted with me鈥攕ometimes for the first time.
This is a space where you can drop the mask, take a breath, and be yourself without judgment. Whether you鈥檙e struggling with ADHD, anxiety, low mood, or just the weight of everyday life, you don鈥檛 have to figure it all out alone. Together, we鈥檒l untangle what鈥檚 holding you back and help you rediscover your voice, your confidence, and your sense of self.
Practice description
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and real. I鈥檓 not here to 鈥渇ix鈥 you鈥擨鈥檓 here to walk alongside you. My foundation is person-centred therapy, which means I trust that you already have what you need inside you. My role is to give you the space, safety, and support to find it.
I also draw from psychodynamic and relational approaches, so we might explore patterns rooted in the past, or focus on making day-to-day life feel lighter and more manageable. Either way, it鈥檚 always guided by what you need.
Working online means therapy is flexible and accessible: show up comfy, with a tea, in your favourite hoodie, camera on or off鈥攊t鈥檚 your space. If you need to fidget, move, or sit in silence, that鈥檚 welcome too. You don鈥檛 need to perform or mask here.
Clients often say therapy with me feels like 鈥渇inally exhaling.鈥 My aim is to create a space where you can let go of the pressure and start discovering what it鈥檚 like to feel truly at home in yourself.
