About me and my therapy practice
Feeling stuck, anxious, or caught in patterns you don’t fully understand?
I’m Armi Jones, a Â鶹Դ´ and British Psychoanalytic Council registered psychodynamic counsellor. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, or a persistent sense that something isn’t right — even when it’s hard to put into words.
Many people come to counselling not because of one clear problem, but because they feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or trapped in familiar patterns that no longer serve them. Psychodynamic counselling offers space to explore these experiences in depth, helping you understand where they come from and how they continue to affect you today.
I have experience working in both agency settings, including Help Counselling in Trowbridge, and in private practice. I also have a particular interest in supporting expats and those navigating major life transitions, including changes in identity, relationships, or sense of belonging.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where we can work at your pace, making sense of your experiences and developing greater clarity, emotional insight and resilience over time.
