About me and my therapy practice

If you’ve been scrolling for a while, unsure where to start, I get it. Looking for the right therapist can feel overwhelming when you’re already carrying so much. I’m Ciara (MSc, MÂ鶹ԭ´´), a friendly, down-to-earth psychotherapist who works with children, teens, students and young adults. In our sessions, you don’t have to filter what you say or pretend you’re okay. In therapy, you can drop the mask, talk about what’s really going on, and know I’ll listen and care about what matters to you. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, low self-esteem, friendship fallouts, family issues, or loss- I'm here to support you.

In our sessions, there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. I’ll meet you where you are, listen without judgement, and move at your pace — gently challenging when it’s helpful, always respecting your voice and your story. If this feels like the support you need, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help you take the first step.

Practice description

If you’re feeling stuck, sad, angry, overwhelmed, lonely, worried, or scared, you’re not alone. I can help you make sense of your emotions and find healthier ways to cope. Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to, relatable, and someone who really listens without judgement, bringing warmth and calm to every session.

My first session

Your first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll explore your needs, set some initial goals together, and chat about how therapy might work for you, whether that’s short-term or longer-term, weekly or fortnightly. I work in a Person-Centred way but, as an integrative therapist, I can draw on different approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you.
