I am available on Mondays until Thursdays. I am aware that not everybody is able to meet at the same time and day every session and I am happy to work with this.
Practice description
Do you feel unheard or have nobody you can really talk to?
I am here to listen empathetically and non-judgementally. I am not going to be giving my opinions.
If you feel like your thoughts are confused, then we can explore things together to figure out what is really going on.
If you have difficult feelings or thoughts, this is a place where I can hear you and we can discuss these feelings or thoughts in a safe environment. It will be at the pace you’re comfortable with. I will not push you and I will not tell you what to do.
This is a place where I can help you to understand yourself more and work through difficult feelings/thoughts, in a place of safety. This is a place where I can help you to find some peace and acceptance in yourself. I hope that we can meet soon.
My first session
If required, we can have a free short chat before the first session. In this chat you can tell me a little bit about you, and your situation, and I can tell you a little bit about me and how my sessions would look. You are also welcome to ask me any questions about what therapy with me would look like.
If we decide we are a good fit for each other then we can arrange a time and date for our first session. I will send you some details before our session, a counselling agreement for you to read and sign if you are happy with this and a form with some general information that I will require from you before we begin sessions Please do not worry if you do not get time to fill this in, we can do this quickly in the first session if you prefer to.
The first session will be a getting to know you session, where you can tell as much of your story as you feel comfortable telling at this time. I will be an empathetic ear.
I have experience supporting clients with experiences of trauma, bereavement and grief, depression, anxiety, carer strain, men’s issues, compassion fatigue and more.
