About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in queer-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults who are exhausted from masking or navigating systems that weren’t built with them in mind.
You might be questioning your sexuality or gender.
You might be neurodivergent: diagnosed, self-identified, or still exploring.
You may have spent years adapting, performing, or shrinking parts of yourself just to feel accepted.
Perhaps you look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, low, burnt out, or disconnected.
Therapy can offer a space where you don’t have to explain who you are, justify your needs, or hold everything together on your own.
Practice description
I’m a queer, disabled, and neurodivergent therapist, and I care deeply about creating a space that feels genuine, warm, and steady. I understand how minority stress, masking, internalised shame, and systemic barriers can impact mental health. You won’t need to educate me about your identity or experiences - we can begin from a place of shared understanding.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. We move at your pace. I won’t try to fix you or push you somewhere you’re not ready to go. Instead, I’ll work alongside you as you explore your feelings, reconnect with your voice, and make sense of whatever you’re facing.
Clients come to me for support with:
- Identity exploration
- Anxiety and depression
- Burnout and overwhelm
- Relationship difficulties
- Grief and loss
- Self-esteem and internalised shame
- Life transitions
Alongside my private practice, I’ve worked in counselling roles with Macmillan Cancer Support and NHS Staff Support, supporting people through illness, stress, and significant life challenges. I also bring experience from the charity sector working with LGBTQ+ communities and people living with HIV, which continues to inform my inclusive and affirming practice.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds who feel drawn to the way I work.
My first session
If you’re curious about whether we might work well together, I offer a free 20-minute phone call. It’s a chance for us to talk about what you’re hoping for from therapy—and for you to get a feel for whether I’m the right fit, with no pressure or obligation.
