About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed by work, parenting, or the pressures of daily life? Does something need to change? Through therapy you can make that change. I’m Lynsey Chambers MÂ鶹Դ´, an integrative relational therapist offering online therapy designed for professionals, parents, and women who want meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re struggling with stress/burnout, anxiety, relationship issues, low mood or life transitions, therapy can provide the space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what really matters. My online sessions are confidential, flexible, and supportive — giving you the freedom to access therapy from home or around your busy schedule.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in life experience. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years working in a global FTSE 250 organisation across wellbeing, leadership, and recruitment roles, and I understand first-hand the pressures of demanding work, career transitions, and balancing personal responsibilities. I now bring that specialist experience into my therapy practice and I work with adults at all stages of life — from professionals facing career pressures, change or redundancy, to parents juggling family and work, to women navigating menopause, relationship shifts, or a loss of confidence. I also support clients processing grief, loss, domestic abuse, or trauma, and those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.
I have specialist experience of supporting women and parents through periods of challenge and change such as (peri)menopause or adjusting to family life, helping you rediscover confidence and self-compassion.
Practice description
I work in an integrative, relational and neuro-affirming way, creating a space where you can explore your experiences without judgement. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you, uncover unhelpful patterns, and build tools for resilience and wellbeing.
I see self-awareness as the foundation of change — when you understand your inner world more fully, you gain the freedom to make choices that align with your values and wellbeing. By increasing self-awareness, therapy can help you recognise patterns that lead to stress, anxiety or burnout, and support you in making more intentional, balanced decisions in your work and personal life.
Whether you’re seeking short-term support for a specific issue or longer-term therapy for deeper exploration, our work will move at a pace that feels right for you.
Sessions are offered online via secure video, allowing you to access therapy from home, during work breaks, or at times that suit your schedule.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss your goals and see how therapy could support you.
My first session
Each online therapy session lasts 50 minutes and costs £60. I offer a free 15-minute consultation as an introduction — a chance for us to meet, discuss what brings you to therapy, and decide whether I’m the right fit for your needs.
Sessions are available online for anyone in the UK, giving you the flexibility to attend from home, work, or wherever you feel most comfortable. I usually work on a rolling basis but you can also book week-to-week or secure a regular appointment by booking a block of sessions in advance.
At the start of therapy, I’ll ask some questions to help us identify what you’d like to work on and what you hope to gain from counselling. Together, we’ll agree on a direction and pace that suits you. I find that regular reviews — usually every six sessions — are helpful to check in on your progress and ensure our work continues to feel relevant and meaningful.
When you decide you’re ready to end therapy, we’ll plan a thoughtful, structured ending phase to reflect on your progress and consolidate what you’ve learned.
