About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Hannah — an experienced, trauma-informed integrative counsellor based in central Canterbury. I work with adults face-to-face from my light and spacious therapy practice, and online via Doxy.me and Google Meet.
I specialise in supporting adults with trauma, PTSD and CPTSD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship and attachment difficulties, estrangement, and neurodivergent experiences (including ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and autism). I also work with baby loss, cancer, menopause and perimenopause, and issues relating to gender identity and sexuality.
My practice is neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQ+ inclusive. Having received my own ADHD and dyslexia diagnoses later in life, I understand how feeling different can shape childhood experiences, identity and self-worth. This informs the compassionate, non-judgemental space I offer, where you can explore your thoughts and emotions safely and at your own pace.
Clients often tell me they feel safe, heard and understood in our work together. My approach is collaborative and relational — I work alongside you to explore your experiences, deepen self-awareness and strengthen your inner resources. Whether you’re dealing with long-standing difficulties or a recent life challenge, I offer a space to talk openly and honestly about whatever you need.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, guided by the belief that no single model fits everyone. My work is informed by:
• Person-centred therapy
• Transactional analysis
• Trauma-informed therapy
• Relational therapy
• Mindfulness-informed and grounding approaches
I combine real-world understanding with contemporary therapeutic thinking to support emotional regulation, insight and lasting change. My work is guided by integrity, empathy and respect, helping you connect more deeply with your feelings and develop a clearer understanding of yourself.
I offer counselling in-person in central Canterbury, Kent, and online across the UK via Doxy.me.
