My Approach

My approach is warm, steady, and down-to-earth.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. Feeling heard, understood, and accepted can make a real difference.

My first session

Your First Session

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, and it's completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect.

Your first session is an opportunity for us to talk about what's bringing you to counselling, discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, and explore whether we're the right fit to work together.

There is no pressure to share anything before you're ready, and you don't need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I am currently accepting new clients for face-to-face counselling in Clacton-on-Sea, as well as online and telephone counselling across the UK.

If you have any questions before booking, please feel free to get in touch.
