About me and my therapy practice
I offer an open and welcoming space, without judgement or expectations. I know it’s not always easy looking for a counsellor, but when you find the right person, it can really help. If you haven’t found a counsellor that fits yet, please do reach out and we can see if we would like to work together.
My Approach
I believe in counselling as an important aspect of reconnection, healing and support. It is somewhere to feel understood, to learn about different parts of yourself and have space to share outside of everyday life. You may not fully know what you need, and that’s OK, it's often part of the process.
I appreciate how difficult it can be to look inwards and start thinking about how you feel about yourself and the world. I will respect your pace and know that it’s your story and your path. I believe you can find the answers you need within yourself, and my role is to help you explore and connect more with your life and what works best for you.
This space may be a good fit for those looking to feel more understood and supported in everyday life. I also have experience working with people who are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, and those living with chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and ME.
Qualifications
- Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Counselling,
- Member of the British Associate of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (Â鶹Դ´),
- I offer a professional service and work within the Â鶹Դ´â€™s ethical framework.

About Sessions
Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place once a week at a regular time. These can be held in person in Stroud Town Centre, online via Zoom, or over the phone. I believe counselling can be equally helpful, whether in person or remotely, and I’ll support you in whichever way you would prefer to work.
I also offer a free 30-minute initial session, which is an opportunity to find out a bit more about each other and answer any questions you might have. There’s no obligation to continue sessions afterwards.
You can contact me by email, phone or via my website.
I look forward to hearing from you.
My first session
Our initial sessions would begin gently, with time to explore what you’re hoping from counselling and what feels helpful for you. We may talk about past experiences and feelings in sessions or focus more on how you are on that day. Sessions are open, and directed by what you would like to talk about. I will offer guidance and reflections if I feel this would be helpful.
