About me and my therapy practice
You may be coming to counselling because something in your life no longer feels manageable.
Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by a loss, a relationship breakdown, pressure at work, hormonal changes, or a transition such as your children leaving home.
You might feel empty, disconnected, or unsure of your sense of purpose or belonging.
You may have spent much of your life feeling unseen or unheard.
Counselling offers a confidential and supportive space where you do not have to face these experiences alone. By talking things through and working together, we can begin to make sense of what is happening for you and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others. This process can help bring greater clarity, self-understanding, and emotional balance.
I work in a warm, relational, and collaborative way, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. I believe that feeling genuinely listened to and understood is central to meaningful change.
As an immigrant myself, I am sensitive to the complexities of identity, cultural background, belonging, and life transitions. These experiences have shaped both my personal journey and my therapeutic approach.
My own path of self-discovery through therapy inspired me to retrain as a counsellor. In my private practice, I mainly work with individual adults, offering both short-term and longer-term therapy.
Practice description
Sessions last 50 minutes.
During the initial assessment, we explore what has brought you to counselling, what you are hoping for, and whether my way of working feels right for you.
