About me and my therapy practice

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life. I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore what is happening for you and find a way forward.

I am a qualified counsellor since 2002, with 20 years experience supporting people through life's challenges. During this time, I have worked within GP and NHS-related services, relationship counselling services, LGBTQ+ organisations, private practice and young people community-based support roles.

My approach is integrative, with a strong person-centred foundation as I believe that each person is unique and that therapy should be tailored to your individual needs. I aim to offer a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.

I have recently completed Level 5 training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) allowing me to integrate practical CBT tools and techniques where these may be helpful.

I work with adults of all ages and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. I aim to provide a respectful and collaborative therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe to explore whatever is important to you.
