About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified psychotherapist with a medical background, working with adults and young people (16+) who want more than just a safe space.
My approach is warm and respectful, but also direct and engaged. I work at depth to help clients understand the emotional and relational patterns shaped by early experiences, attachment, trauma, and internal conflicts.
People often come to me when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, ashamed, or disconnected from themselves – when insight alone is not enough and they need a place to think, feel, and understand what is happening inside.
I work psychodynamically and person-centred within a pluralistic framework, integrating emotional processing, relational dynamics, embodied experience, and new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Our work is not only about coping, but about clarity, integration, and meaningful change.
Practice description
I offer both short-term and long-term individual psychotherapy in a private practice setting, located in the city centre and Newington area of Edinburgh. Sessions are face-to-face, last 50 minutes, and are typically held on the same day and time each week.
