About me and my therapy practice

Hello! I’m Caroline (DipHe, MÂ鶹ԭ´´)

I provide online or face-to-face counselling for adults in the UK. My counselling space is based in Sholing, Southampton.

Over the past 10 years I have made a transition from working in illustration, teaching and workshop facilitation to counselling; all of this experience has informed my creative, collaborative and client-centred approach with the people I see in my practice.

Together we can work towards making sense of overwhelming, confusing or conflicting feelings at your own pace. I am dedicated to helping you find a greater level of self-acceptance and support you in building self-esteem while reducing stress and anxiety.

Outside of counselling I draw everyday and share my work through The Self-Care Bear Club. I love being in nature, especially if that involves long walks up big hills with my partner or looking after the garden. You’ll also often find me in local cafes with coffee and cake!

As well as my MA in Illustration, I hold a Level 5 Diploma of Higher Education in Person-Centred Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÂ鶹ԭ´´). I am dedicated to continuous personal and professional learning to inform my practice. For further information about this take a look at my experience.

You can find more information about my experience, fees, the counselling room, legal and ethical aspects and limits to confidentiality on my website but I am always happy to answer any further questions you may have over the phone or via email.

Our Space (If you prefer face-to-face)

The counselling room is a calm and comfortable self-contained space with a bathroom. The space is not wheelchair accessible but there is only one step into the room. Once inside the lighting, heating and seating can be adjusted to suit your needs.
