About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Dr Jade Copperwheat, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist offering online therapy to adults across the UK.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step — especially if you’ve been coping alone. I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore whatever’s on your mind, at your own pace and without judgment.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional eating, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My specialist interest lies in how self-worth, body image, and our relationship with food are shaped by deeper psychological patterns — a theme central to my research on self-concept and weight.
Practice description
I’m an HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist and a full member of the Â鶹Դ´. I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy, along with a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Health Psychology — all accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
My integrative training spans existential, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches, allowing me to adapt therapy to suit your individual needs.
I’ve worked with people from diverse backgrounds and deeply value the trust and connection that come from a genuine therapeutic relationship.
Sessions are 50 minutes and held securely online, so you can access therapy from the comfort of your own space.
If you’re considering therapy, I’d be happy to answer any questions or help you decide if it’s the right fit.
