About me and my therapy practice

I’m a Â鶹ԭ´´-Accredited integrative and trauma-informed therapeutic counsellor, offering in-person sessions in Haggerston E8 and Highbury N5, as well as online therapy.

I support people navigating emotional and psychological distress, trauma and relational challenges, alongside the ways identity, race, culture, sexuality, and belonging shape emotional wellbeing. If any of this resonates, I offer a thoughtful and non-judgmental space to explore what you’re experiencing with care and curiosity.

My approach is open, warm and flexible, always adapting therapy to suit your needs. I work relationally, developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship and draw on different modalities that can help deepen understanding of yourself, foster resilience, and support meaningful growth.

Beginning therapy can feel daunting, especially when speaking about things that may be difficult to name or share. I hold this in mind, offering space and understanding to start to explore what has brought you here.

Meaningful change often begins with being listened to and understood in a way you may not have experienced before.

Practice description

Many people who come to therapy are used to coping alone or supporting others while feeling unsettled inside. Therapy can bring gentle awareness, helping you make sense of difficult feelings and feel less alone.

How I work:

As an integrative therapist, my work is relational, holistic, and grounded in genuine curiosity about you as a whole person. Our sessions are guided by what you bring to therapy, with an openness to what may sit beneath the surface.

At the heart of this is a person-centred approach, focusing on empathy, acceptance, and a relationship where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I also draw on psychodynamic thinking, helping us understand how past experiences and relationships continue to shape the present. Alongside this, humanistic principles guide the work, supporting your capacity for growth, self-awareness, and agency.

In sessions, you can expect me to listen closely, reflect with you, ask thoughtful questions, and explore patterns together. Sometimes we may slow things down to notice what is happening in the moment; at other times, making connections across your experiences.

Working with trauma:

When working with trauma, I prioritise safety, stabilisation, and pacing. Trauma can be held in memory, body, and nervous system, meaning revisiting experiences may feel overwhelming. Where helpful, I incorporate grounding, breathwork, and body awareness so therapy remains supportive and manageable.

I can help you with:

  • Building emotional resilience and understanding difficult feelings
  • Healing trauma
  • Understanding patterns shaped by earlier experiences
  • Creating healthy boundaries
  • Improving relationship dynamics
  • Exploring meaning, purpose, and personal growth

Inclusivity and ethics:

I remain attentive to diversity, culture, power, and lived experience, recognising how social context shapes wellbeing. As a Â鶹ԭ´´ Accredited member, I work within its ethical framework and maintain insurance and data protection to safeguard confidentiality.

My first session

I offer open-ended (not limited to a set number of sessions) and short-term therapy, online or in person. Throughout our work together, I will check in with you, so our work remains focused on what feels important.

Sessions are 50 minutes long. My fee is £70 per session, or £60 per session when booked monthly in advance. I also have a limited number of concessionary spaces available,

It's important to find the right therapist so I offer  an initial consultation, a free 20 –30 minute phone call or zoom to talk about what you’re looking for from therapy, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of how I work.
