About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Julia. I am a fully qualified BA (Hons) Therapeutic Counsellor, dedicated to supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, chronic health conditions, grief, trauma, and work-related stress.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. My approach is client-centred and empathetic, always tailored to your unique needs and experiences.
I have received specialist trauma training with Carolyn Spring, which enables me to support clients in regulating their nervous system following trauma and stress. I am also an RNIB Accredited Sight Loss Counsellor, with experience helping clients adjust to sight loss and the wider impact of living with a disability or long-term health condition. In addition, I have facilitated online group work through the charity Action for Happiness, where I hosted their Happiness Habits course, and I also offer an in-person Women’s Circle.
