About me and my therapy practice
I work using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and at the heart of my approach is creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and not alone with what you’re going through. CBT gives us a structure to make sense of your experiences, how your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviours all interact
We start by exploring what has brought you here and how difficulties show up in your day‑to‑day life. We build practical tools that help you feel more grounded and confident, both inside and outside of therapy.
I bring years of experience from working in different communities and settings, and my own lived experience with mental health helps me understand how overwhelming things can feel at times. My aim is to offer a space where you feel seen, supported, and able to move forward at your own pace and what feels manageable.

I’m Carol, a CBT Therapist working with anxiety, overthinking, worry, avoidance, depression, OCD, stress, low self‑esteem and burnoutl. We'll explore what’s been happening to you, the patterns that keep you stuck, and work with practical tools for a lasting change.
You might be experiencing moments where life feels heavy, when motivation dips, emotions feel overwhelming, or even simple tasks like getting up, eating, or connecting with others feel like it's too much. When these feelings begin to shape your daily life, it can be difficult to know where to turn.
I offer a safe space where you'll be understood and supported. My approach is shaped by years of experience in various contexts and my own lived experience of anxiety.

My first session
Before our first session, you'll complete a short intake form so I can understand your background and what brings you to therapy.
