Practice description
Talking therapy can help when you are feeling stuck, unhappy or in crisis, or looking to resolve an issue, either in a relationship with another person or within yourself.
By listening to you, offering you empathy, and supporting you in reflecting on your thoughts, emotions and behaviours, I will help you to better understand yourself and significant others in your life.
Sometimes we will look backwards, reflecting on your childhood, past relationships or the dynamic between yourself and your partner(s), and at other times we will look forwards, and I may invite you to try different ways of connecting with yourself or others to facilitate change, if required.
My first session
Our first 50-minute session is an initial assessment session. In this session I'll briefly introduce myself and share with you a little about how I work. I'll then invite you to introduce yourself and to share with me what you know already about the problems you are experiencing and how you hope therapy could be useful to you.
By the end of this assessment session I will normally be able to tell you if I think I can work with you. You can then, either let me know in session if you think you can work with me, or come back to me after you've had a couple of days to think about it.
Once we start working together there is no set number of sessions that you need to attend, but I generally support people on a weekly or bi-weekly basis at the same day/time each week.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, I am Victoria Kearns (she/her), a COSRT accredited and Â鶹Դ´ registered Integrative Psychotherapist with specialist training in supporting couples and individuals with relationship and psychosexual problems. I offer a confidential and compassionate space in which you can explore and reflect on your challenges, the way in which these affect you and your hopes for change.
I support couples and individuals with relationship conflict and communication difficulties, challenges with empathy and emotional availability, repeated relationship patterns and with a range of psychosexual issues including increasing eroticism in your relationship, reconnecting with your sexuality, sexual pain, desire discrepancy, erection and ejaculation issues.
My approach is to work with you as a fellow traveller, helping you to discover what is happening for you either individually or in your relationship, revealing ways of thinking and behaving that don’t always serve you well and supporting you in finding routes to greater satisfaction, pleasure, joy and self-expression.
I am a culturally competent practitioner and support people in-person from my London Shoreditch and Watford Herts practices as well as online.

Practice description
Talking therapy can help when you are feeling stuck, unhappy or in crisis, or looking to resolve an issue, either in relationships with other people or within yourself. Together, we may look into the past, reflecting on your childhood experiences, previous relationships or the dynamic between yourself and your partner. At other times we may imagine the future or focus on your felt experience in the here and now, and I may invite you to try different ways of connecting with yourself or others to facilitate change, if required.
In supporting you I see myself as a fellow traveller who wants the very best for you. Through reflection, exploration and sometimes challenge my aim is to support you in knowing and understanding yourself better, opening the way for new ways of connecting with yourself and with those you love.
