About me and my therapy practice
Firstly, I would like to welcome you to my page. I understand that it is not always easy seeking help, especially during difficult times, and this takes a lot of strength and courage.I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, where you can feel free to explore whatever maybe troubling you.
My approach aims to help you:
* Feel understood and less alone
* Feel safe and not pressured
* Help you process difficult emotions, experiences, or trauma
* Explore your needs
* Trust your own instincts
* Find the right solutions for you
Prior to becoming a counsellor, I have worked providing support and education, both within the health and education sector. I have experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEN), and vulnerable adults and children.
I have a HE Diploma in person-centred counselling from Glyndwr University and work with individual clients aged 18+.
Practice description
My primary modality is person-centred therapy, which means that I believe that you are the expert in your own life. It is a non-directive form of therapy, which means I would never push, direct, or tell you what to do.
I have knowledge and training in other types of therapy that can be drawn on to suit each client’s individual needs.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the client and counsellor is key. I aim to bring my full being into the relationship and support you on your journey.
I offer counselling via telephone and online (Zoom) to those that would prefer to be in the comfort of their own home. I also, do home visits (depending on location).
I am passionate about personal and professional growth and have a strong commitment to continuing professional development. Some recent training and areas of interest includes – CBT Diploma, relational depth, online counselling (OU/Â鶹Դ´), trauma, C-PTSD, childhood sexual abuse. I attend regular supervision to ensure my practice is safe.

I offer a free introductory discussion, which can either take place via telephone, email or text, whatever you would prefer.
This will will allow the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and together we can talk through any queries or concerns that you may have.
